Đo ECG (điện tâm đồ), tính năng được Apple giới thiệu hồi năm 2018 trên Apple Watch Series 4, sẽ có thể sử dụng được tại Việt Nam kể từ tuần sau.
watchOS 7.4 là một bản cập nhật đang được nhiều người dùng Apple Watch chờ đợi, bởi lẽ nó sẽ mang đến tính năng mở khoá iPhone bằng Apple Watch mà không cần phải nhập mật khẩu. Đây là một tính năng đặc biệt hữu ích trong thời điểm dịch bệnh hiện nay.
Thế nhưng, watchOS 7.4 còn “mở khoá” một tính năng rất quan trọng của Apple Watch dành cho người dùng Việt Nam, đó là ECG (điện tâm đồ). ECG lần đầu được Apple giới thiệu trên Apple Watch Series 4 từ năm 2018. Tuy nhiên, do là một tính năng liên quan đến sức khoẻ, vậy nên nó cần được sự cấp phép của từng quốc gia trước khi đưa vào hoạt động.
Người dùng Việt Nam sẽ có thể đo ECG bằng Apple Watch sau khi cập nhật lên watchOS 7.4
Chính vì thế, mặc dù mọi chiếc Apple Watch Series 4/5/6 đều có khả năng đo ECG, nhưng người dùng Việt Nam không thể sử dụng tính năng này do chưa được cấp phép.
Điều này sắp thay đổi với watchOS 7.4. Theo thông tin chính thức từ Apple, ECG sẽ hoạt động tại hai quốc gia là Việt Nam và Australia kể từ bản cập nhật này. watchOS 7.4 sẽ chính thức được Apple tung ra vào tuần sau.
ECG là gì?
Công nghệ mà Apple Watch và nhiều sản phẩm khác đang sử dụng để đo nhịp tim là Photoplethysmogram (PPG). PPG theo dõi nhịp tim bằng cảm biến ánh sáng và một đèn LED màu xanh lá. Ưu điểm của công nghệ này là dễ triển khai trên sản phẩm, tuy nhiên kết quả cho ra không hoàn toàn chính xác.
Electrocardiography (ECG) là công nghệ đứng đằng sau tính năng đo điện tâm đồ của Apple Watch Series 4/5/6. Đây được coi là “tiêu chuẩn vàng” để đo nhịp tim và thường xuất hiện tại các phòng khám. Apple Watch được thiết kế với một điện cực ở phía sau áp lên cổ tay, và một điện cực nữa ở núm xoay.
Điện cực trên Apple Watch sẽ dò ra được các tín hiệu điện rất nhỏ (khoảng 1/1.000 volt), phát ra tự nhiên từ đỉnh đến đáy tim theo từng nhịp đập. Các tín hiệu điện này là tín hiệu trực tiếp từ trái tim chứ không phải gián tiếp từ mạch máu. Bởi vậy, phép đo sẽ chính xác và nhanh hơn nhiều so với công nghệ PPG trước đây.
ECG cho phép chẩn đoán tình trạng rung tâm nhĩ (AFib). Rung tâm nhĩ là chứng rối loạn nhịp tim, khiến cơ tim dường như rung thay vì co lại. Nó khó có thể được chẩn đoán từ các triệu chứng bên ngoài.
