Apple Watch có một cấu hình phần cứng cao cấp mà không nhiều đồng hồ thông minh hiện nay cùng phân khúc sở hữu, điển hình như: Vỏ: bằng nhôm, thép cao cấp; Mặt lưng bằng gốm; Cụm cảm biến nhịp tim đặt trong mặt kính sapphire cong (đây là thành phần khó chế tạo nên có giá thành rất cao và không hãng nào khác ngoài Apple làm); Cụm rung Taptic Engine mang lại phản hồi xúc giác khi tương tác với Apple Watch, đây là chi tiết kĩ thuật mang lại trải nghiệm rất khác biệt mà không đồng hồ thông minh nào trên thị trường làm được
- Thời lượng pin: con số 18 tiếng của Apple đưa ra là rất trừu tượng, rất khó hình dung để biết được nó có phù hợp với nhu cầu của mỗi cá nhân hay không. Nhưng với tần suất sử dụng của cá nhân mình: nhận tin nhắn, email, cuộc gọi khoảng 20-30 lần mỗi thứ (các tin nhắn vui vẻ trên facebook messenger hay zalo nó quá nhiều nên mình không cho push qua Apple Watch), chơi thể thao có dùng GPS mỗi ngày 60 phút thì cuối ngày trước khi đi ngủ mình đặt sạc Apple Watch vẫn còn từ 30-40%
- Chỉ hoạt động với iPhone: mình thì không thấy phiền về chuyện này vì mình chỉ dùng iPhone nhiều năm nay rồi, Android quá khó đối với mình
Chỉ hoạt động với iPhone nên trải nghiệm trên Apple Watch rất giống với trên iPhone, luôn đồng nhất
- Không cho các bên thứ 3 tham gia làm mặt đồng hồ: một số nguyên nhân mình đoán Apple không cho các bên khác làm mặt đồng hồ là: trải nghiệm kém và ảnh hưởng thời lượng pin. Tuy nhiên Apple Watch là một trong những đồng hồ thông minh có kho mặt đồng hồ chính chủ lớn nhất hiện nay. Về cá nhân mình thì mình luôn chọn những mặt đồng hồ dạng quan sát được nhiều thông tin chứ không ưu tiên sự đẹp và điều này thì các mặt do Apple làm mang lại trải nghiệm rất tốt
Khi không còn hứng thú với mặt đồng hồ cụ thể nào, mình quay lại với mặt đồng hồ hiện những tấm hình yêu thích
