iPhone khóa mạng, hay còn được biết với tên iPhone Lock, là những chiếc máy mua từ nhà mạng theo dạng hợp đồng và bị khóa về mặt phần mềm để chỉ có thể sử dụng SIM của nhà mạng đó.
iPhone Lock được nhập về Việt Nam và bán với giá rẻ hơn rất nhiều so với máy quốc tế, mức chênh lệch có thể lên đến vài triệu đồng. Và vì vậy, khi mua iPhone Lock, người dùng buộc phải chấp nhận rằng họ sẽ phải dùng SIM ghép.
Thế nhưng trong một số trường hợp, người dùng iPhone Lock lại hoàn toàn có cơ hội lên đời quốc tế với mức giá rẻ mạt, thậm chí hoàn toàn miễn phí nhờ chính sách của nhà mạng.
Năm ngoái, nhiều người dùng iPhone Lock nhà mạng Docomo (Nhật Bản) đã được một phen “ăn mừng” khi nhà mạng này cho phép unlock miễn phí đối với những máy đủ điều kiện. Tuy nhiên, hai nhà mạng lớn khác của Nhật Bản là Softbank và AU lại chưa có động tĩnh gì ở thời điểm đó, khiến cho nhiều người dùng ngao ngán.
Nhưng ngày chờ đợi đã kết thúc với người dùng nhà mạng AU, khi nhà mạng này đã chính thức cho phép người dùng unlock miễn phí những chiếc iPhone do nhà mạng này bán ra.
Cũng như nhà mạng Docomo, để có thể unlock thành công, chiếc iPhone phải thoả mãn điều kiện của nhà mạng AU đưa ra. Cụ thể:
– Máy thuộc nhà mạng AU.
– Đời máy từ iPhone 6s trở lên.
– Máy hết bảo hành, hoặc nếu còn bảo hành thì đã active (kích hoạt) trên 100 ngày. Để kiểm tra, người dùng có thể truy cập website của Apple tại đây và nhập số serial của iPhone.
– Máy không báo mất. Để kiểm tra, người dùng có thể truy cập vào website của nhà mạng AU KDDI tại đây và bấm vào nút 次へ (Tiếp tục). Nếu biểu tượng hình tròn (O) hoặc hình tam giác (△) hiện ra nghĩa là iPhone của bạn đủ điều kiện unlock. Còn nếu biểu tượng dấu X hiện ra, tiếc rằng chiếc iPhone của bạn đã bị báo mất và không thể unlock được.
Nếu máy của bạn đạt đủ điều kiện trên, xin chúc mừng! Bạn có thể unlock chiếc iPhone của mình thông qua website chính thức của nhà mạng AU một cách hoàn toàn miễn phí. Quá trình unlock khá đơn giản khi bạn chỉ cần đăng ký một tài khoản của nhà mạng này là có thể unlock. Tuy nhiên cần lưu ý rằng website này chỉ có tiếng Nhật, vì vậy bạn sẽ cần một công cụ như Google Translate để hỗ trợ.
Trong trường hợp quá trình unlock quá rắc rối đối với bạn, hiện nay có một số dịch vụ unlock với mức giá rất rẻ, chỉ khoảng 5.000 – 10.000 đồng. Song song với đó, cũng có những dịch vụ unlock nhà mạng Nhật “chặt chém” với giá cả trăm nghìn đồng mà người dùng nên tránh xa.
