Không chỉ ở thị trường Trung Quốc, giá bán của hàng loạt iPhone thế hệ mới tại Việt Nam cũng biến động mạnh. Theo thông báo từ FPT Shop, một trong những nhà phân phối chính thức của Apple, cả ba mẫu iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS và iPhone XR đều có giá thấp hơn trước.
Ví dụ, với XS Max 64 GB, mức niêm yết mới được áp dụng từ tháng 4 là 29,99 triệu đồng thay vì 33,99 triệu đồng. Hay iPhone XR bản 64 GB đã xuống dưới 20 triệu đồng. Thậm chí, đây chưa phải giá bán thực tế khi số tiền mà người mua bỏ ra có thể còn thấp hơn nữa nếu sử dụng phương thức thanh toán trực tuyến.

Mức khởi điểm của iPhone XR, XS và XS Max phiên bản 64 GB còn lần lượt 19,99, 26,99 và 29,99 triệu đồng. Đây cũng là đợt giảm giá mạnh nhất của hệ thống này sau khi bán ra loạt iPhone mới từ tháng 11/2018.
Trịnh Vũ, quản lý một hệ thống bán lẻ điện thoại ở Hà Nội, nhận định việc hai nhà phân phối lớn của Apple cùng điều chỉnh giá có thể tác động nhiều tới thị trường chung, dù thực tế mức niêm yết mới vẫn cao hơn giá bán tại một số cửa hàng nhỏ lẻ.
Ngoài FPT Shop và Thế Giới Di Động, iPhone chính hãng ở Việt Nam còn được đưa ra thị trường qua một số nhà phân phối khác. Tuy nhiên, kênh phân phối này dành cho các cửa hàng và hệ thống cỡ nhỏ. Trong khi đó, doanh số iPhone chính hãng tập trung chính vào hai chuỗi siêu thị lớn trên. Vì thế, khi hai đơn vị này hạ giá mạnh như vậy, giá bán iPhone nói chung có thể tiếp tục được giảm xuống để cạnh tranh.
Mức giá niêm yết của iPhone XS, XS Max và XR chính hãng ở Việt Nam giờ đã thấp hơn giá tại Singapore từ 2 đến 3 triệu đồng tuỳ từng model. Trong khi đó, trên thị trường xách tay, giá của cả bộ ba iPhone 2018 đều giảm sâu, nhiều bản thậm chí còn thấp hơn mức giá Apple đưa ra tại thị trường Mỹ.
Ra mắt tại Việt Nam cuối năm ngoái, iPhone XS Max là smartphone đắt nhất của Apple. Nhưng sau nửa năm, bộ ba iPhone 2018 là thế hệ có tốc độ hạ giá nhanh nhất từ trước đến nay ở thị trường trong nước với nhiều lần điều chỉnh trước cả khi thế hệ mới xuất hiện.
